Have you been hearing about Fire Tonic or seen it on the shelf at your favorite health food store? Are you wondering what all the hype is about?
This hands-on workshop, presented by holistic practitioner Jassie Bhuee (https://www.honourthetemple.com/honour-the-temple) will answer your questions about what Fire Tonic is, its many health benefits, how to make it, and how it can be enjoyed in your everyday life.
$45 per person plus HST.
This warming and energizing apple cider infusion made with common kitchen ingredients, some of which include garlic, onions, ginger, honey, and various herbs; has many health benefits including: helping to prevent cold and flu symptoms and/or shorten their duration, boost the immune system, stimulate digestion, and warming you up on a cold winter day.
Fire Tonic is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, a decongestant, and a spicy circulatory mover which can also be drizzled over steamed vegetables, grains and pasta, or added to soups and salads.
Students will need to bring a cutting board and a sharp knife. All other ingredients will be provided.
Students will get to taste Fire Tonic during the workshop and learn to make various flavors and versions of this wonderful herbal tonic.
Class notes and recipes will be provided.
